I enjoyed everything about The Cracked Egg Cafe. I invite everyone to give this restaurant a try. The instant I walked in, I was transported to what I have always imagined what a small cafe must have been like in the 1950's small town U.S.A.Even though every employee was hustling, they all took the time to give me and my family a welcoming greeting. I noticed that when their regular customers left that the employees wished them a good day by the customers' first names. The whole atmosphere was comfortable, and I also have too describe it as, "cute".The employees are a mix of generations that work well together, everyone pulls their weight, and they do it all with a smile. The menu is just right, not too small and not too big. We all had breakfasts that consisted of eggs, pancakes, French Toast, home fries, bacon, pork roll, ham, sausage, toast, and English muffins. Everyone one of us enjoyed everything we ordered. I had the eggs which I ordered over easy, and although I enjoyed them throughly, I definitely had a little French Toast and Pancake envy. I'll be making as many return trips as I can, so I can try other items off the menu.Hats off to the owner and his staff. Keep dishing up the tasty vittles and continue doing it with the friendly service.Hope to see you again soon.

I’m writing this review for the Cracked Egg Cafe, New York rd. Galloway. The bottom line is that I’ve become a regular in this establishment for one reason. The food is amazing. The menu is packed with so many great choices. There are great specials as well. Everything is great, fresh, and hot off the grill. Also, I can eat! The portions are amazing!I noticed immediately how hard Robert and his staff work at giving their customers a great experience. They are friendly and very professional. The service is also fantastic! I love sitting at the counter so I can observe how well everyone works together. It’s also just a great place to hang out and relax for a bit. They make you feel welcome.I would return every day if I could. I try to visit several times a week.Yup. This is now my go to breakfast/lunch spot in Galloway.I look forward to many more visits.5 stars. Frank (the music guy) from Smithville.

The breakfast was amazing! One of the best egg and cheese on a kaiser roll in NJ. Relaxed, family atmosphere. Small dining room so get there early! Service was equally great.

We went to eat here at 930am on Friday. The place is very small so if there are a few people there it will feel busy, but the service was amazing. Our waitress was attentive and nice. The food was really yummy and came out fast. I had the meat, egg and cheese sandwich. I thought the coffee was good. It was robust but not cheap tasting. We sat outside. I enjoyed our experience here. Small parking area.

I can't wait to eat here again, the staff was very friendly and pleasant. The food was very delicious and it's a cute little spot like a mom and pop shop. I enjoyed my short stack French toast with blueberries, and smoked ham it was the perfect delightful breakfast.

What a great little restaurant! Super nice people, excellent food, generous portions and fair prices. The restaurant is accessible but it is tight with tables right next to each other. There are a few tables outside, so if the weather is nice, there’s more space there. The food was plentiful, served fast and hot. Excellent home fries! Our waitress was very nice and attentive. Lots of families w kids. Lots of locals.Parking right outside.

This is our new breakfast spot. Friendly staff that sit you quickly and serve you quickly. The food was so, so good! Everything was cooked perfectly, and very flavorful. They pay close attention to the details, and details matter! Basic menu with some specials added. Home cooked breakfast and lunch done really well, and very reasonably priced. Thank you for a great breakfast, can't wait to come back!

The food here was excellent. We ate outside and our main reason for coming was the sausage gravy of which I am a connoisseur and approve of. Different than your southern Hardy’s or Cracker Barrel but still delicious and recommended. We are outside though and the bees were pretty bad. I think the short trees attract them along with the syrup and sugar left over on the tables once the food has been eaten. I recommend eating inside if you have an allergy.Otherwise though, 5 stars! Thank you.
